Dust Episode - Work Prohibition - 3 April 2026

High PM10 Concentrations in the Atmosphere – 3 April 2026

According to the measurements of the ground Stations of the Air Quality Monitoring Network of the Department of Labour Inspection, very high concentrations of dust (PM10) exceeding 200 μg/m³ are being observed.

Therefore, based on the provisions of the Safety and Health at Work (Code of Practice for the Protection of Persons at Work during Dust Episodes) Order of 2022 (P.I. 410/2022), all work/activities carried out outdoors must be suspended and rescheduled once the phenomenon has passed.

The Department of Labour Inspection will continue to monitor the concentrations of PM10 in the atmosphere, and when levels return to normal, a new announcement will be issued.
